Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) has awarded a Long-Term Maintenance Contract for 5 years to Descon Engineering’s Industrial Services Division. QAPCO is one of the world’s-largest producers of low-density polyethylene (LDPE). QAPCO facilities in Qatar consist of an Ethylene plant (cracker), three LDPE plants and a Sulfur plant.

The scope of work includes piping and structural works, equipment erection, equipment dismantling, static equipment maintenance, maintenance of Ethylene Cracking Furnace, lighting works and E&I works on call-off basis.
