OLAYAN DESCON has recently awarded Detailed Design & Engineering for the new BUCAT Plant of PETROKEMYA (SABIC) to Descon Engineering Services & Technology (DEST). PETROKEMYA intends to install new BUCAT Plant at Petrokemya-West, Jubail, similar to existing plant at SABIC-STC Riyadh. The scope of award includes:

• Raw materials unloading, drying & storage
• BUCAT preparation system
• Wastage vessel for off-spec catalyst disposal
• Loading system for finished product (BUCAT)
• Flare system including flare knock-out drum & flare stack.
• Fire Fighting system with HCIS approval

DEST’s proactive approach and quality performance in lieu of this project shall pave way to strengthen its presence in KSA and secure future projects.
