Descon Engineering's Industrial Services Division (Oman) has been awarded with Reformer Works Package for the upcoming OMIFCO Turnaround 2024. For the execution of this work, Descon Engineering's team shall again be partnering with the global special steel solutions specialist, Schmidt + Clemens (S+C). Descon will bring its accumulated expertise of Reformer Catalyst Tube Replacement works along with associated mechanical works during the plant turnaround. The scope includes replacement of 264 Catalyst tubes within a window of 14 days.

This award shall further strengthen Descon's strategic partnership with S+C in Oman, leveraging our expertise in specialized reformer works in the Middle East . Also, this award is in line with the geographical expansion of ISD Oman along with upcoming future opportunities with OMIFCO and other critical assets in Sur Region.
